Clay Robert McSavaney, at the age of 51, passed away quietly on Monday, February 26 at Peter Lougheed Hospital, Calgary, surrounded by family and friends.

Born in Springhill, NS, he was the eldest son of Robert and Hannah (Scott) McSavaney.

Clay is survived by his parents, Robert and Hannah (Scott) McSavaney; Aunts Karen Scott, Frances (Don) Hammond, Holly (Greg) Young and Barbara (McSavaney) Shaw; Uncle Fred (Donna) Scott, as well as many cousins and their extended families.  He will also be dearly missed by his family and many friends in Calgary, including Shelley, Sarah and Marissa.

Besides his brother Craig, he was predeceased by his grandparents Fred and Eleanor (Herrett) Scott. and Herb and Irene (Bickle) McSavaney; uncle Lloyd Scott; Aunts Lorraine (Glen) Roblee, Andula (Gerry) Gibson, and Edytha Robertson.

Arrangements have been entrusted to A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane St., Springhill, NS (902-597-2361).
