It is with sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Daniel "Goose" Emmette Gilbert, age 38, of Moncton, formerly of Springhill, NS.  Dan passed away in Moncton, NB on Friday. July 21, 2023.

Born in Moncton, NB, he was a son of Gary (Marguerit) Gilbert of Moncton, NB and Bertha Harrison of Springhill, NS.

In additon to his parents who will miss him dearly, Dan will be dearly missed by siblings Jill (Michael), Truro, NS, Richard (Megan), Moncton, NB, Antonie, Moncton; nieces Vaeh and Ayla; paternal grandmother Marjorie, Amherst; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Predeceased by his paternal grandfather Beck, maternal grandparents Mutt and Mary, as well as step-father Brian.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of the A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill, (902 597 2361). A private graveside service will be held in the Hillside Cemetery, Springhill, at a later date.

If so desired, donations in Dan's memory may be made to the The Humanity Project or the Maison House of Nazareth who were always there to support Dan when they could.
