It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Tara Marie Brown, 39 years of Five Islands and formerly of Springhill, on Monday, January 9, 2023 at her residence. Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of Tammy Brown and Michael Tabor.

Tara's smile was like the sun and anyone who encountered the essence of her spirit was moved in their heart. She was full of love, especially for her children. She loved life, nature, dance and music. She was a gift from God and to God she has returned.

Besides her parents, Tara is survived by sons, Connor and Colton; maternal grandmother Rose Brown and paternal grandmother, Ardythe Tabor; three half- brothers; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by maternal grandfather, Merlin Brown and paternal grandfather George Tabor.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of the A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill, (902 597 2361). A time of remembrance will be held from the A. H. Brown Funeral home from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Sunday, February 5, 2023. Burial will be held in the North Street Roman Catholic Cemetery, North Street, Springhill, at a later date.
