It is with deep and profound sadness we announce the passing of Selina Ivy Tirien Hunter, 38 years, of Springhill, on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at her residence. Selina was born in Halifax on Saturday, June 16, 1984.

Selina was liked and loved by everyone who knew her. She was a kind, considerate and loving person.

Selina graduated from McMaster University with a BA and completed a BEd at UNB.

She was a tech genius and an avid gamer with friends from around the world. She worked for Department of Natural Resources at Amherst Shore.

Selina was a much loved daughter, sister, aunt and friend.

She is survived by her mother, Joanne; father, Stanley (Cynthia); sister Amanda (Graham) and nephew Rhys; Aunt Sharon (Kavalak); Aunt Mary Lou Legere (Philip); Uncle Andrew; Uncle Philip (Sharla) Hunter and many cousins. She will be missed by her sheltie Rohan.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of the A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill, (902 597 2361). Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on Monday, January 23, 2023 from the A H Brown Funeral Home, Springhll, followed immediately at 2:00 pm by a Funeral Service. Life Celebrant Scott Balser officiating. Burial in Hillside Cemetery, Springhill, at a later date.
