It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Leona (Tower) Capon at home with her husband by her side and surrounded by her family, on their one month wedding anniversary, January 15, 2023.

Besides her mother Maxine (Jerry), she is survived by husband Michael; children Michelle (Jonathan) Capon, Stephanie (Jamie) Capon, Sarah Tower and TJ Hart; nephew, Kyle Hunter; grandchildren Annabelle, Charles, Harland, Isabella, Rachel, Sidnee, Leighton, Bodhi, Cooper and Brooklyn; sisters Darlene Hunter-Arsenault, Charlein Hunter and Paula George; mother-in-law Deanna Capon; as well special gained family Joyce Fitzpatrick, Dean Ruddick, Mike Skidmore, Samantha Less and children Jayse and Nora.

She was predeceased by her father-in-law Lawrence Capon.

Her family would like to extend their thanks to the doctors and nurses at CRHCC and VON, the Commissionaires of Canada, the dialysis ladies and Dr. Dan for their care and compassion over the last few  years during her illness, especially on her wedding day.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane St., Springhill, NS (902-597-2361). In keeping with Leona's wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no service.

In lieu of flowers, the family and Leona asks for donations to the the Salvation Army in memory of Leona or a charity of choice.
