The death of Mary Ann Savard, age 75, of Lower Sackville, NS, and formerly of Springhill, NS, occurred at the Halifax Infirmary on Tuesday, December 27, 2022.

Born in Springhill, NS, she was a daughter of the late Charles W. and Margaret E. (Guthro) Buck.

Mary Ann was a licensed short order cook, a licensed hairdresser, and a proud stay at home mom.  She enjoyed sewing, cross stitch, gardening, knitting, and crocheting.  She was never afraid to try something new.

Mary Ann will be dearly missed by her husband Gilles, Lower Sackville, NS; daughters Kimberly Ott (Michael), Springhill, Margaret Savard, Truro, and Valerie Savard, Edmonton, AB; grandchildren Kelsea, Killian and Thalia Moors; sister Sherry (Michael) MacMasters, Amherst, NS; sister in laws Julie Buck, Port Albernie, BC and Shirley Buck, Terrace, BC; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers Robert "Bobby" Buck and Horace Buck.

Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of A H Brown Funeral Service, Springhill, NS (902-597-2361).  Cremation has taken place.  There will be no visitation or service at this time.  An internment service will be held at the Hillside Cemetery, Springhill, NS in the spring.
