It is with profound sadness that we
announce the passing of Marion Annie
Perrin, of Centennial Villa, and formerly of Moncton,
NB at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre. Marion
passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at the age of 90. Born
in Springhill, she was a daughter of the late Sydney and Lila (Miller)
MacDonald.
Marion had been an RNA for over 30
years. She was very active in the community and enjoyed
clogging and line dancing. She was very social and was known
to organize frequent theme parties in her building. Marion
went on several bus trips to Cape Breton, as well as to Louisiana
which she enjoyed greatly.
Marion was a devoted mother, grandmother
and great grandmother and will be dearly missed.
Marion is survived by two children, Jeff
(Carla) Perrin, and Nancy Perrin; three grandchildren, Matthew
(Kayla), Steve (Lissa), and Alex (Cath); four great grandchildren; her
older sister, Eleanor and a younger brother, Dan, as well as several
nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased
by three children, as well as her siblings, Grace, Jim, and
Art.
Arrangements are under the care and
guidance of A.H. Brown Funeral Home, 5
McFarlane Street, Springhill, NS (902-597-2361). Visitation
will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, June 12, 2022 from 6-8
pm with a funeral service to take place Monday at 2 pm with
interment to follow in the Hillside Cemetery,
Springhill.
Donations in memory of Marion may be
made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Mental Health Association
of NS.
