It is with sadness we announce the passing of Jean Louise MacDonald, 90 years on Monday, February 14, 2022 in the Brampton Civic Hospital, Brampton, Ontario.

Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Florence (Emberly) Nicholson.

Jean will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her extended family and friends.

She was the loving mother to Brian and his wife Anita; beloved Gran to Peter, Marcie (Philip), Mindy (Amanda) and Stacey; cherished Gigi to Avalena. She is also survived by a brother Bill and his wife Theda Nicholson.

She was predeceased by her husband Peter D. MacDonald in 1977; a brother, Harold Nicholson and a sister Gertrude Boran.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of A. H. Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill, (902 597 2361). A Graveside Committal Service will be held in Hillside Cemetery, Springhill, on Monday, June 13, 2022 at 1:00 pm with Life Celebrant Scott Balser officiating.
