It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia Margaret Weatherbee, 58, of Springhill, NS on Sunday, July 11, 2021. Born in Springhill, Patty was a daughter of Muriel (nee Colborne), and the late Vincent Weatherbee.

Patty loved to read, and considered herself Stephen King's biggest fan. She enjoyed fishing, so much so that she would go with a broken leg if she had to, and did. She loved playing a good ballgame and was very fond of her cat, 'Baby'. Patty had a garden which she loved to tend and was considered a talented poetry writer. She adored a good gathering, especially if it included lobster and clams.

Patty was a loyal friend; everyone who met her loved her. Patty was a loving daughter and sister. She was a fighter to the end and she will be dearly missed.

Patty will be dearly missed by her mother, Muriel, of Springhill; her fiancé, Harold 'Smokey' Fraser; her siblings, Danny (Bernie) Weatherbee, Medicine Hat, AB, Rob (Sharon) Weatherbee, Collingwood, NS, and Sheree (Glen) Hunter, Springhill, NS; her best friend, Joyce, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Besides her father, Patty was predeceased by her younger brother, Bruce.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of A.H. Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill, NS (902-597-2361). Honouring Patty's wishes, cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 11 am. Rev. Carolyn Rushton presiding.
