With saddened hearts the family of Reginald "Borden" White announce the unexpected passing at his home on June 14, 2021 at the age of 68.

Born in Springhill, he was a son of Reginald and Dorothy (Morrison) White.

Borden loved his 70's music, fast cars, going to the camp with the boys, old movies, dancing, playing cards and spending time with his beloved grand-dog Sandy. Most of all he loved his family, and was a very proud father. He had a great sense of humor and always loved a good joke.

Borden will be missed by his many friends he'd made Canada wide from his love of travel, and his hard work for his family which took him to many places. His love of education and his vocation lead him to many successful degrees.

Borden was loved by his family more than words can express. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 33 years, Heather (Hunter) White, Springhill; children Katelynn (Timothy) Smith, Springhill, Alex (Kayla) White, Truro, and Taylor Jean, Halifax. He was predeceased by both his parents.

Arrangements have been entrusted to A. H. Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill, (902 597 2361). A Graveside Service celebrating Borden's life will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Hillside Cemetery, Springhill.  The service will be streamed for those unable to attend, and may be seen by visiting Borden's obituary on the funeral home website later that day.  In keeping with Covid-19 restrictions, masks must be worn, please respect Social Distancing guidelines.
