Elisha Lodge Brown, 92 years, passed away on June 6, 2021 just 35 days short of his 93rd birthday, the last of his generation in our family.

Born in East Mapleton, he was the son of the late Aaron and Gertrude (MacAloney) Brown.

The majority of his working life was spent in Toronto at Canada Wire and Cable, with his leisure time at his cottage near Peterborough, Ontario, moving back to Nova Scotia upon his retirement.

He was predeceased by his parents; his two wives, Audrey (Laughlin) Brown and Roberta (Merry) Brown; siblings, Mason Welch, Charles Brown, Charles Lewis, Royal Lewis, James Rhyno, Doris Perrier, Ira Welch, Maude Lewis, Elijah Brown, Hattie MacLean, Ida Cameron and Paul Brown.

Arrangements have been entrusted to A. H. Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill, (902 597 2361). There will be no visitation or funeral service as per his request.

The family would like to thank the Palliative Care Team at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre.
