It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Dawna Marlene McEvoy, 58 years, of Springhill and formerly of Etobicoke(Alderwood), ON, on Friday, January 1, 2021 at her residence.

Born in Springhill, NS, she was a daughter of Dawna (MacDonald) Livingstone-MacDonald, Springhill and the late Harry Douglas Livingstone.

Dawna will be fondly remembered by friends and family as a bright and talented woman who loved to laugh, who possessed a wonderfully dark sense of humour and of the absurd. A graduate of Humber College, she excelled in most anything at which she tried her hand: accounting, international payroll, bookstore cashier, shipper-receiver/warehouse manager, making us all laugh... Dawna enjoyed a variety of interests including designing and installing her kitchen & cooking (with wine). She also liked nothing better than curling up on the couch with a good book or movie.

She is dearly missed by her husband Grant McEvoy, Springhill, NS, as well as her step-father Don MacDonald, Springhill, NS.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill, (902 597 2361). A graveside service will be held in the Hillside Cemetery, Springhill, NS in the spring.
