It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Noel F. Smith, age 92, of Springhill, NS. Noel passed away peacefully at High Crest Nursing Home on Thursday, September 3, 2020.

Born in Springhill, NS, he was a son of the late George and Elnora (Fraser) Smith.

Noel was self employed. He enjoyed his family, sailing, sugar woods, blueberry fields, darts, curling and skiing.

Noel will be sadly missed by his wife of 65 years, Ruth, Springhill; daughter Noelene (Greg) Hatfield, Springhill; sons Kelsey (Holly), St. Margaret's Bay, NS and Stefan, Springhill, NS; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son Michael; by his sister, Darlene Sheridan and brothers, Glen and Mack.

Arrangements are under the direction and care of A.H. Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane St., Springhill, NS (902-597-2361). There will be no visitation or funeral.
