It is with sadness we announce the passing of Myrna Rushton, age 83, of Springhill. Myrna passed away peacefully at High Crest Nursing Home, Springhill, on Sunday, May 10, 2020.

Born in Glace Bay, NS, she was a daughter of the late Berbert and Mary (Trenchard) Nichols.

Myrna enjoyed going to Bingo. She loved to read, bake, and dancing. She also enjoyed going out with her girlfriends. Her boys were her main concern.

She will be dearly missed by sons, Robin (Kelly) Black, and Ivan (Melinda Moore), all of Amherst, David (Chantal), London, ON, Roger, and Byard (Sabrina), all of Springhill, several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers John and Bob Trenchard; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Ronald; sons, Wayne in 2016, Everett in 2017, Fred in 2018 and Leslie in 2019.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill, (902 597 2361). In keeping with Provincial restrictions, a family only service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at 2 pm. The service will be live streamed and available during and after the service by visiting her obituary on the funeral home website. Burial will take place in the Eagle Hill Cemetery, Westchester, NS.
