It is with sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Jane Olive "Ollie" Stonehouse, age 93, of Springhill, NS.  Ollie passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at High Crest Nursing Home, Springhill, NS.

Born in Springhill, NS, she was a daughter of the late Percy and Grace (Turner) Fawcett 

If you were her friend, you were instantly a lifelong friend.  A kind and loving wife and mother, she was very devoted to her daughter Susan, as well as her siblings.  Family was everything to her.

The last surviving member of her immediate family, she is survived by nieces Catherine Harrison Smith, Ann Russell Rose, Elizabeth Harrison Damery, Margaret Russell Brundage, Marjorie Harrison; nephew Gordon Murray; brother in law Kenneth Murray; several great nieces and nephews

She was predeceased by her husband Douglas, her daughter Susan; brother Henry Fawcett; sisters Gwendolyn Russell, Ruth Harrison, and Grace Murray; nephew and Godson Douglas Russell.

Arrangements have been entrusted to A.H. Brown Funeral Home (902-597-2361), 5 McFarlane St., Springhill, NS.  A private family gathering and Graveside Service will be held at a later date.

Ollie's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the staff of High Crest Nursing Home for their loving care and compassion.
