The death of James Thomas "Jim"
Whittle, 75, of Springhill, occurred unexpectedly on
Wednesday, September 14, 2016. Jim was born in Springhill, a son of
the late Carl and Mary Elizabeth (Ellsworth) Whittle.
He had been an electrician all of his life and had spent some
time as a projectionist in Springhill and Sackville.
Jim enjoyed hockey and was a fan of the Montreal Canadiens.
He was very interested in politics at all levels. He loved his time at
Pinky's Point in Parrsboro.
He leaves to mourn, a sister, Carolyn MacDonald and a
brother, Bill (Bonnie) Whittle as well as two nieces, Jennifer and
Valerie and a nephew, Matthew.
Besides his parents, Jim was predeceased by three nephews,
Barry, Michael and Nicholas.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of A H Brown
Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill, (902 597 2361).
Honouring Jim's request there is to be no visitation or funeral
service.
