It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Audrey Nan Phillips, peacefully at her home in Chance Harbour, NS.  Audrey passed surrounded by her families love and care on Friday, July 10, 2015.

Born in Springhill, NS, she was a daughter of the late George and Dorothy (Beaton) Hale.

Audrey was an active member of the St. David's Presbyterian Church where she directed the choir for many many years.  She had a real passion for music and was frequently called upon by her community to sing at local events.

She will be dearly missed by her children; Jeffrey (Denise) Phillips and George Phillips both of Chance Harbour, NS; grandchildren Stephanie, Karleigh, and Jarred; great grandchildren Kyle, Mason, Mattie and Cooper; companion Roland Reid, Chance Harbour; niece Brenda and nephews David, Drew and Ian.

She was predeceased by her daughter Nan Phillips; sister Margaret (Clyde) Murray and nephew Clyde Murray.

Arrangements have been entrusted to A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane St., Springhill, NS (902-597-2361) where visiting hours will take place on Monday July 13, 2015 from Noon until 2 PM.  The funeral will follow immediately at 2 PM, Rev. Glen Matheson officiating, followed by burial in the Hillside Cemetery.  A light lunch at A H Brown Funeral Home will follow the burial.
