Darrell Grant Hurley, 81 years of age, of Springhill, NS, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre. Born in Nappan, he was a son of the late Wesley & Bessie (Jardine) Hurley.

He loved baseball and was a "fence buster" He was a member of the sports Hall of fame in New Brunswick.. Darrell loved hunting and being at his camp    He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren & great grandchildren.

Darrell will be sadly be missed by his children, Teresa Porter (Shane)  of Springhill, NS, Christopher Arseneau of Sparwood, BC, Kirk (Darlene) of  Fernie, BC, Todd (Teri) of Fernie BC, several grandchildren and  great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Beverley, daughter, Bernadette, sister, Joan  Gogan.

Arrangements are under the direction of A.H. Brown Funeral Service, 5 McFarlane St., Springhill, N.S. (902-597-2361) Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors from 1- 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2015 . A memorial service will be held at the funeral home at 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the GOVRC.
