It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of
Beatrice Gertrude Langille on June 20th 2015 at
the All Saints Springhill hospital. Born on January
27th, 1943, she was the daughter of Wendell and
Ethel Langille.
Beatrice is survived by her loving husband Bruce, sons David
and John, daughters Kim (Roy), Liz (Gerrard) and Tammy as well as
three stepchildren Doug (Rhonda), Michael (Lisa) and Sarah
(Robert). She is also survived by grandchildren Wendell,
Jennifer, Mary, Chrissy, Melissa, Jonathan, Joseph, Amber, Bea and
several great-grandchildren. She is also survived by
brothers Austin, Newton & Delbert.
She was predeceased by her first husband Norman Gray, her
parents and brothers Ivan & Brent, sister
Gladys.
Beatrice was loved by all; her life was full of highlights
such as working as a PCW at the East Cumberland Lodge, director of the
Norman Gray Memorial walk for Huntington’s as well as served
on the board of directors of the Huntington Society of
Canada.
Beatrice along with her husband created the Racing Spectator,
which followed maritime stock car racing before
retiring. During this time, she interviewed
several race car personalities. This was truly a favorite
pastime of hers.
Beatrice spent her retirement years thinking of other and
volunteering at the Springhill Salvation Army Food
bank.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of A.H. Brown
Funeral Home in Springhill. The memorial service will take
place on June 24th, 2015 at
11am.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Springhill
Salvation Army Food bank or the Huntington’s
Society.
