Art was known for his unique "trademark" sense of humour.  His second home was the Tim Hortons in Springhill.

He had served in the Canadian Army for 35 years, including a time overseas in Germany just following World War II.

He will be missed by his daughter, Susan Brebner, Springhill; treasured nieces, Michaela and Brianna Hunter; three sisters, Hilda Nault, Catherine Brebner and Sandra Brebner; a brother Tom Brebner; a sister in law, Joan (Gordon) Brown; a brother in law, Willis (Debbie) Snider and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Art was predeceased by his wife, Alice Marie (nee Snider); brothers, John, Jimmy, Teddy, Angus, and Richard and a sister Elenor.

Arrangements are under the care and supervision of A.H. Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill (597-2361).  Honouring Art's wishes, there is to be no visitation or funeral service.  A graveside service will take place at the Roachville Cemetery, Sussex at a later date.

Donations in memory of Art may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
