It is with sadness we must announce the passing of Leo Edward Quinn, 76, of Amherst and formerly of Springhill, on Monday, June 8, 2015 in the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Nappan. Born in Springhill, he was a son of the late John and Della (Reid) Quinn.

Leo enjoyed hunting, fishing and a good party. He had been a member of the Canadian Army Reserves for many years.

He will be dearly missed by brothers, Alfred (Bessie) Quinn and Robert (Jean) Quinn, both of Springhill; several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Barbara and Lila and a niece, Tracey Burgess.

Arrangements have been entrusted to A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill, (902 597 2361) from where a time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm followed immediately at 3:00 pm by the Funeral Service with Captain Chad Ingram officiating.  Burial in Hillside Cemetery, Springhill. Donations in memory of Leo may be made to the Salvation Army.
