It is with deep sadness that we must announce the passing of
Freda L. Noiles, age 94, of Springhill Junction. Freda passed away at
her home in Amherst on Thursday, March 5, 2015.
Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of Thomas and Mabel
(Patriquin) Fisher.
Freda loved to dance with her husband Roland in their earlier
years. She was an amazing cook and everyone loved her many baked
treats. She loved animals, and fed the birds around her house
faithfully everyday. She was an avid card player and attended all the
card parties she could get to. Freda worked for 10 years at the
Interprovincial School for the Deaf. Her door was always open, and the
tea was always steeped.
She will be dearly missed by her children Blennis (Sue),
Ottawa, ON, Gerald, Saint John, NB, Myrna (Jack) McManaman, Moncton,
Rod, Amherst; 8 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; sister Eleanor
Farris, Halifax, NS.
She was predeceased by her husband Roland; son Terry;
daughter-in-law Anita; and sister Leota Davis.
Arrangements have been entrusted to A H Brown Funeral Home, 5
McFarlane St., Springhill, NS (902-597-2361) where visiting hours will
take place on Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm. The funeral service will take
place from A H Brown Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 2
pm, Major Max Snow officiating. Burial will take place in the Junction
Cemetery at a later date.
