Helen Elsie Chambers, 78, of
Springhill passed away at the Dr. Georges L Dumont Hospital, Moncton,
on Friday, November 14, 2014 after a brief illness. Helen
was a daughter of the late Tom and Eva (Landry) Tower of
Amherst.
Helen enjoyed playing Ladies Darts at
the Springhill Legion as well as knitting and spending time with
family and friends at the cottage.
She will be
sadly missed by her husband of 56 years, Charles Chambers of
Springhill; three daughters, Susan (Jamie) Russell, Ontario, Sandra
(Ernel) Henwood, Westville, and Vicki Cameron, Five Islands; a son,
Michael (Peggy), Springhill; nine grandchildren, Rhonda, Jennifer,
Stephanie, Brandon, Summer, Falon, Tina, Bradley, and Jordan; four
great grandchildren; brothers, Fred (Betty) and Walter; a sister Joan
(Henry) Pellerin; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are under the care and guidance of A.H.
Brown Funeral Service, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill (902-597-2361)
from where a time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 18
from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on
Wednesday from the funeral home at 11 am, with burial to follow in the
Mapleton Cemetery.
