Robert David Barrett
1947-2012
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of
Robert David Barrett, at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre on
Sunday, July 29, 2012. Born March 13, 1947, he was a son of the late
Charles and Amelia (Debaie) Barrett.
Bob will
be deeply missed by his wife, Sandra (MacDonald) Barrett; son Charles;
daughter Barbara (Jerry); brothers, Bill (janice) and John (Carol
Anne); sister, Ruth (Danny) Brown; mother-in-law, Myrta MacDonald;
brothers-in-law, Nelson Wood, and Leonard Smith; as well as several
nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a
brother, James; sisters, Marion,Doris, Shirley and Jean; and
father-in-law David MacDonald.
Cremation has
taken place under the care of A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane
Street, Springhill (597-2361), from where visitation will take place
from noon until 2 PM on Friday, August 3, 2012. Immediatley following
visitation, a memorial service will be held at 2 PM. Burial in the
Hillside Cemetery, Springhill. Family flowers only, those wishing to
make a donation in memory of Bob may do so to the family fund, or a
charity of your choice.
