Audrey Letitia Knowlton

The death of Audrey Letitia Knowlton, 81, of Springhill, occurred unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, July 28, 2012.  Born in Springhill, Audrey was a daughter of the late Alex and Mae (Hayes) Ross.

Audrey was an adherent to the Springhill Baptist Church.  She had volunteered at the Hospital Auxilliary Giftshop for many years.  Besides being a homemaker, she did office work at Knowlton's Auto Body.  A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she enjoyed her time at Five Islands with her family.

She will be sadly missed by her son, Lee of Springhill; daughter, Sharon (Rob Weatherbee) Knowlton, Collingwood; a daughter-in-law, Kathy, Springhill; a sister, Doris Hunter, Springhill; a brother, Carl, Springhill;   six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Ulric C. "Bud" Knowlton in 2010; a son, Bill; brothers, Neil, Murray, Jack, Ronald and Colin, and sisters, Isobel and Beulah.

Arrangements are under the care and supervision of A. H. Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill, (902-597-2361), from where visitation will be held from 1-2 pm on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 with a funeral service to follow at 2 pm.  Burial to follow in Hillside Cemetery.
