Norman Roderick Adams
1921-2012
Norman Roderick Adams 90 years of Springhill, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at his residence. Born in Springhill, he was a son of the Late John and Agnes (Turnbull) Adams.
Norman was employed in the United States for
twenty five years until his retirement. Following retirement
he divided his time between Springhill and
Florida. He enjoyed music, dancing, watching TV,
sports, especially hockey and baseball, fishing, hunting and reading
the newspaper.
He will be sadly missed by son David
"Tim" Adams, Attleboro, Mass; daughters, Linda Adams,
Tidnish and Virginia (Bill) Poliquin, Rehoboth, Mass; seven
grandchildren, two great granddaughters; several nieces and
nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife the
former June Sterling Ward; infant brother, Donnie; sisters, Kay,
Thelma, Elizabeth, Mary and Marjorie.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of
A. H. Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill, (902 597
2361). A Graveside Committal Service will be held in the
Rodney Cemetery at a later date.
