Daniel Leon Davis
1930-2010
Daniel Leon Davis - 80 years of Linden and formerly of Toronto, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2010 in CRHCC, Nappan. Born in Springhill, he was a son of the Late Daniel and Rose M. (Smith) Davis.
Dan enjoyed golfing, watching TV, working outside, camping, snowmobiling, his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by his wife the former Patricia Beale; son, Daniel (Judi) Orangeville, Ontario and daughter, Elizabeth (David) Lee, Haliburton, Ontario; grandchildren, Jessica, Amy, Ashley, Katie and Daniel, great granddaughter Hailey; brother, Carmen Davis, Springhill; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brothers, Doug, Floyd, Raymond, Ronald and an infant brother.
Arrangements have been entrusted to A. H. Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill, (902 597 2361) from where visitation will be held 7:00 to 9:00 pm Friday, February 26, 2010. Funeral service held 2:00 pm, Saturday, February 27, 2010 from the Funeral Home with Major Max Snow officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.
If so desired, donations in Dan's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society, Nova Scotia Kidney Foundation or a charity of choice.
