Lawson Clifford GABRIEL
GABRIEL - Lawson Clifford aged 66 years of Black River Road,
Springhill, passed away suddenly on Monday, February 5, 2007 in
Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Nappan. Born in Springhill, he
was a son of the Late William and Edith (Leggett) Gabriel.
He enjoyed working on houses, cars, word search puzzles, his date with Judge Judy every night and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife the former Gloria Jean "Jeanie" Silvea; sons, Lawson Jr. "Beaver" Gabriel of Springhill and Clayton Gabriel of Hamilton, Ontario; daughter, Kim Gabriel of Toronto, Ontario; Lawson also raised with his wife, their grandchildren, Tyler and Justin Gabriel; also left to mourn are brothers, Richard (Ronia) Gabriel of Sprinhill and Elmore (Stella) Gabriel of Joggins; sisters, Prema (Roy) Tower and Louise Gabriel both of Amherst, Eleanor (Donald) Reid of Joggins, Wyonetta Gabriel of Calgary, Norma (James) of Boston, Bessie Hayes of Ottawa and Donna Gabriel of Springhill; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a daughter Annette; three brothers in infancy; sisters, Roxanna, Kathleen and Geraldine.
Visitations will be held 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 today from A. H. Brown Funeral Home, Springhill, from where the Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, February 8, 2007 with Archdeacon Glenn Eason officiating. Burial in Hillside Cemetery, Springhill, at a later date.
If so desired, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or a charity of choice would be appreciated.
