It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Eva Lucelle Silvea, 68, Springhill, at her residence on Saturday, September 21, 2019. Lucelle was born in Springhill, on November 19, 1950.

Lucelle loved the beach. She was very independent and strong, yet modest. Lucelle was deeply devoted to her family and highly accepting of anyone who came into her life. Once you were her friend, you were her friend for life. She loved her family and shared a deep bond with her sisters and brother. She was so excited to have any new grandchildren and to watch them grow.

Besides her mother, Ida (nee Gabriel) Pye, she will be sadly missed by her children, Lawrence (Karen Atkinson) Pye, Rett (Shawn Legere) Pye, John (Rhonda) Pye and Micheal Mitchell; her grandchildren, ten grandchildren; six great grandchilren and five step-grandchildren; her siblings; Edith Faye (Fred) Brennan, Louise (Alphonso) Greaves, Denise D. (Roy) Hunter, Eunice M. (Gary Meagher) Chaulk, and Larry V. (Donna) Silvea, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Lucelle was predeceased by her father, Wes Silvea; as well as her brothers, Ronald D. and Jerry G. Silvea.

Arrangements are under the care and supervision of A.H. Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill (905-597-2361). Honouring Lucelle's requests, cremation has taken place and there is to be no visitation. A celebration of her life will be held from the Springhill Legion on Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
