It is with sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Dawn Elizabeth Fraser, age 70, of Springhill. Dawn passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her family at All Saints Hospital on Sunday, March 11, 2018.

Born in Springhill, NS, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Helen (Sneddon) Campbell.

She worked at the Springhill Penitentiary and was a Mary Kay consultant for many years. She loved gardening, especially her flowers. She was a member of the 50+ Seniors Club in Amherst and enjoyed their many trips. Her family was everything to her, and she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She will be dearly missed by sons John "Jackie" Dowe and Trevor (Jennifer) Dowe; daughter Shawna Canning; grandchildren Faith (T.J.), Charles, Megan, Katrina, Amy, Jacob, Krista and Julia; great grandchildren Serenity, Ainsley, Eden and Alex; sisters Linda and Louise Campbell; sisters in law Becky (Ronnie) Henwood and Faye Warren; special friend Sue Hicks.

She was predeceased by her husbands Charlie Dowe and Arlington Fraser and her dear poodle Thomas.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill, (902 597 2361) where visiting hours will take place on Wednesday, from 6 to 8 pm. Dawn's funeral service will be held at A H Brown Funeral Home on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 11 am, Life Celebrant Scott Balser officiating. Burial will take place in the Mapleton Cemetery in the spring.
