Donna I. Foster, aged 88 years of Wolsley Street, Springhill, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017 at Cumberland Health Care Centre.

Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of the Late Daniel R. and Ruby V. (McCarthy) O'Rourke.

Aside from her love for her family, she had a great love for all animals. Donna was a 25 year President of LA Animal Shelter, which she continues to support throughout the year. She was the Past President of Pythian Star Temple # 8, Pythian Sisters. She enjoyed card clubs and her grandchildren.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Bonnie (Doug) Lockhart, Springhill; daughter in law, Theresa Smith, Springhill; grandchildren Wanda, Randy, Troy and Darren; great grandchildren, Morgan, Spencer, Avery Chaz, Cohen & Reese; 3 great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, George Foster; beloved son, Donald Smith; sister, Kay MacDonald and a brother Robert T. O' Rourke; special nephews, Danny MacDonald
and Danny O'Rourke.

Arrangements have been entrusted to A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill, (902 597 2361). Visiting hours will be held at the A H Brown Funeral Home on Friday from noon until 2 pm, followed immediately at 2 pm by her funeral service, Rev. Wayne McCarther officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillside Cemetery, Springhill.
