The death of Daniel Carrigan "Danny" Ward, 50, of Beaver Bank, NS and formerly of Springhill occurred tragically on Wednesday, November 15, 2017.  Born in Montreal, Danny was a son of Marilyn (nee Carrigan) and the Late Frederick L. Ward.

Danny was well read and knowledgeable and a treasure trove of information.  He was an avid traveler and skilled cook who enjoyed skydiving, scuba diving and spending time at the gun range.  A perfect host, he was always entertaining his beloved family and friends. In his younger years he was active in Minor Baseball, Militia, and Scouting.  Most recently, Danny found himself with acting parts in various television shows and movies.  His infectious smile and energy will be missed by all who knew him.

Dan will be dearly missed by his spouse, Rachael Robinson, of Beaver Bank; his mother, Marilyn Ward, of Springhill; three sisters, Frances Ward, Cathy (Dave O'Reilly) Ward, and Linda (Steve McKay) Ward, all of Springhill; his mother-in-law, Rose Weatherhead, of Upper Rawdon, NS; a brother-in-law, Chris (Linda) Weatherhead, of Victoria, BC; a sister-in-law, Tammy (Vince) White, of Upper Rawdon, NS; as well as his Aunt Candace (Morley)  Brown and Uncle Keith (Bev) Ward and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and cousins.

Besides his father, Danny was predeceased by two brothers, Vince and Richard and his father-in-law, Wayne Weatherhead.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of A.H. Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill, (902-597-2361) from where a funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Monday, November 20, 2017 with a reception to follow.  Father Craig Christenson presiding.
