It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Donald James "Jim" Davis, age 69, of Springhill. Jim passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, November 6, 2017 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre.

Born in Springhill, NS, he was a son of the late Donald Davis.

Jim was an avid outdoorsman. His favorite past time was spending time at Five Islands, heading out on high tide for the catch of the day. He was an independent man who took on many challenges.

He will be dearly missed by his twins Don (Joanne), Greenwood and Denise Acton, Sackville; 7 grandchildren Cody, Danielle, Danika, Dawson, Delaney, Braydon and Emma; sister Karen (Bob) MacDonald, Springhill; brother Mike (Frances), Vancouver Island, BC.

He was predeceased by his infant daughter Kelly; sister Janet.

Arrangements have been entrusted to A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane St., Springhill, NS (902-597-2361) where visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 6 to 8 pm. Jim's funeral service will be celebrated from A H Brown Funeral Home on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 2 pm, Celebrant Scott Balser officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillside Cemetery, Springhill, NS.
