It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mom, Grandmother, Elsie Carletta Cox, on September 1, 2017 in the Health Care Centre in Parrsboro. Born in Springhilll and was a life long resident.

Elsie loved playing cards and going to Bingo. Her passion and loyalty for friends and family made her a much sought after confidante for young and old. Her family was her single most important priority. She possessed genuine interest in daily activities, of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She sang in the Anglican Church Choir for over 70 years. She worked at the Red & White Store in Springhill for 15 years.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Margaret "Margie" Orlik, Springhill; grandsons; Ron (Anne) Cox, Sandy (Sandra) Cox, Brian Cox and Jimmy (Carla) Orlik; three great grandsons, Kendall (Tara), Douglas , Kenneth ( Brittany); two precious granddaughters, Brooke & Zoey; three precious great grandsons, Conner, Colton, Brayden; brother, Jim Mont, and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Douglas Cox in 2009; sister, Grace Thompson.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of the A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill, (902 597 2361) where a time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 1 - 2 p.m. followed immediately at 2 p.m. by the Funeral Service with The Rev'd Dr. Brian Spence officiating.
