It is with great sadness and broken hearts we announce the passing of Jennifer Leah Gallagher (MacDonald), age 44 of Southampton, NS. Jennifer passed on February 12, 2017 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre with her loving family at her side. Jennifer fought a brave and courageous battle with breast cancer.

Jennifer graduated from Springhill High School in 1991 and went on to graduate from St. Martha's School of Nursing, Antigonish, in 1994. She worked at Victoria Manor, High Crest Nursing Home and was currently employed as a Registered Nurse at East Cumberland Lodge and Health Care Service at the Springhill Institution. Jennifer touched many lives with her love, compassion, loyalty, commitment and dedication to family and others. We are so blessed to have had Jennifer in our lives; even though our hearts are broken she will live on thru us honouring her memory.
Jennifer loved life, her friends, work, travel, the beach but the greatest loves of her life were her husband Ted and children Katelynn and Dawson who brought her great joy, pride and comfort.

She is also survived by brother, Paul (Susan) MacDonald; sister, Lisa (Andy) Miller, all of Springhill; in-laws, David and Evelyn Gallagher, Southampton; Kirk (Barb) Gallagher, Springhill; nephews, Forrest Gallagher, Brandon MacDonald, niece Danielle (Miller) MacDonald, other cousins, aunts and uncles.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of the A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill, (902 597 2361) . A Celebration of Jennifer's life will be held in her memory at the Springhill Legion on Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 2- 4 p.m.
