It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of
Margot Mary Greenhow 71 years of
Springhill, on Friday, February 10, 2017 in the Cumberland Regional
Health Care Centre, Nappan. Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of
the late John and B. Theresa (Murray) Kingan.
Following graduation from Springhill High School Margot moved
to New York where she attended school to become a flight attendant.
She married Arnold (Hoggie) Greenhow in 1963 and lived a short time in
London, Ontario then relocated back to Springhill where she was
employed with CIBC for 25 plus years before retiring.
Margot will be dearly missed by her husband, Arnold
"Hoggie" Greenhow; son, Donnie (Laurie) Greenhow and
grandson, Brandon Greenhow; siblings, John (Nancy) Kingan, James
(Susan) Kingan, Marylou Kingan - Findlay, and Joanne Kingan; several
nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, Ronnie Greenhow in 2000 and a
sister Deborah Kingan.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of
A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane
Street, Springhill, (902 597 2361). By request there will be no
visitation or service. Burial will take place in Hillside Cemetery,
Springhill, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Margot's memory may be made
to a charity of donor's choice.
