Elsie passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at the All Saints Hospital on September 16, 2016.

Born in Cap Pele, NB, she was the daughter of the late Jude and Rosanna (St. Peter) LeBlanc. She spend many years living in Springhill where she raised her family.

She was employed by Stanfields for many years.  Elsie enjoyed spending time with family and friends, attending social gatherings, the senior's centre, and traveling.  She loved to hear from family and enjoyed keeping in touch with everyone.  She also enjoyed playing 45's and Bingo. 

She was predeceased by her husband Arthur; daughter Sheila (Lester) Pettigrew; son in law, Frank Gogan; grandchildren, Debra and Patricia; sisters, Elizabeth Gould, Angie Creed, Eve LeBlanc, Rosalie O'Shea, Rita Howatt; brothers, William LeBlanc, Clarence LeBlanc, and Clifford LeBlanc in infancy.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Donna Gogan, Springhill, Patsy (Ian) Munroe, Amherst, Sharon (Ted) Darragh, Springhill; twelve grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren, and twelve great great grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the supervision of A.H. Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill (902-597-2361) from where a time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 from 7-9 pm and Wednesday from 1 pm until the time of the funeral at 2 pm.  Interment to follow in the North Street Roman Catholic Cemetery.

Donations in memory of Elsie may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
