The
death of James ‘Jim’ Frederick
Brayley, 76, of Pugwash, and formerly of Moncton, NB and Springhill, NS, occurred at the Cumberland
Regional Health Care Centre on Monday, July 25, 2016. Born in
Springhill, James was a son of the late Lloyd and Evelyn (Wood)
Brayley.
Jim had
been the bookmobile driver for many years for the Cumberland Library
System before operating his own business. Capable of playing any
instrument he picked up, Jim was a talented musician
and
singer with a local
band.
Jim
will be sadly missed by his son, Dale (Margaret) Brayley, Dartmouth;
four daughters, Juanita (Steve Clerk) Carroll, Dartmouth, Dawn-Marie
Brayley, Calgary, AB, Larisa (Robert) Nason, Truro and Alyse Brayley, Truro; many grandchildren
and great grandchildren, as well as a sister, June (Late Randy)
Weatherstone, Campbell River, BC, and many nieces and
nephews.
Besides
his parents, he was predeceased by his
siblings.
Arrangements are under the care and
supervision of A.H. Brown Funeral Home, 5
McFarlane Street, Springhill (902-597-2361). Honouring Jim's wishes,
his remains have been cremated and there is to be no visitation or
funeral service.
Donations in memory of Jim may be made to the
LA Animal Shelter in
Amherst.
