Eric A. Potter, 60 years of age, of Springhill, NS passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at the East Cumberland Lodge. Born in Springhill, NS, he was a son of the late Kenneth Potter & Erlene (Beaton) Potter of Springhill, NS

As a young boy, Eric worked at IGA. He worked for Canada Post for 10 years. He worked in Halifax for several years as a Stationary Engineer. Eric enjoyed playing guitar, fishing, cooking, playing crib. A kind and loving person he really enjoyed talking to people and was an excellent listener. A gentle man with a kind heart he will be  missed by all who knew him.

Eric will be sadly missed by his mother, Erlene, sisters: Virginia Potter & Cathy Potter both of Halifax, Melissa Ellwood ( Christopher) of Hammonds Plains NS; nephews, Kenneth, Joseph (Laura) & Jack; sister in law, Jo-ann of Springhill, NS

Besides his father, he was predeceased by 2 brothers, Joseph & Roderick.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of A.H. Brown's Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane St., Springhill, NS (902-597-2361). No visitation or service by request.

Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the East Cumberland Lodge.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the V.O.N., and the staff at East Cumberland Lodge & Dr. David Forshner for their excellent care and compassion that helped to make Eric feel comfortable and at home during his stay there.
