Edgar Glensmore "Glen" Wilson, Truro/Springhill

Glen passed away peacefully at Cedarstone Enhanced Care on January 21, 2016 with his family by his side.

Born in Springhill, NS in July 1928, he was the son of the late Michael and Fretta (Colburn) Wilson.  In 2013, he celebrated 63 years of marriage to Morna (Fear) Wilson.

Glen was employed at V.R. Mills Grocery Store for many years and later for Maritime Tel and Tel in Amherst, retiring in 1993. He was a life member of the Telecom Pioneers. He was always ready for a game of cards, and loved spending time with the boys at the garage or camp and of course, there were the drives in his beloved cars.

He is survived by his son, Michael (Nancy) Wilson,  grandsons, Bradley (Dalyce) Wilson, Ian (Helen) Wilson, all of Dartmouth; Sister-in-law, Doris (Hilton) McNutt, Springhill.

He was predeceased by his wife, Morna (Fear) Wilson; sisters, Infant Lottie Wilson and Ethel (Wilson) MacDonald and half-brother, Alexander "Sandy" Wilson.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill, (902-597-2361) where visiting hours will take place on Monday, January 25, 2016 from 1 pm until 2 pm, followed immediately at 2 pm with the funeral service, Rev.
