Shirley E. Boucher, 76 years of age, of Amherst, formerly of Springhill, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2016 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre. Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of the late Herbert  & Margaret (McPhee) Harroun.

Shirley enjoyed playing cards and bingo. She loved to watch curling with her life time friend Mary Brown. A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be sadly missed by her bingo buddies and card friends.

She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Sherry Wright (Ron) of Amherst, NS, Geraldine Wells (Norman) of Nappan, NS, Angela VanSnick (Bruce) of Joggins, NS, Tammy Marks (Joey) of Moncton, NB; her son, John ( Sharon) of Stellarton, NS; 10 grandchildren, several great grandchildren; 

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by  her daughter, Margaret Hollis, brothers, Herb & Robert.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of A.H. Brown Funeral Home Ltd., 5 McFarlane St., Springhill, NS (902-597-2361) on Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 22, 2016 at 2 p.m. Burial will take place in the Hillside Cemetery, Springhill later in the spring.
