It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Faye Doreen Jackson Kavalak, age 70, of Springhill.  Faye passed away at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre on Friday, October 30, 2015 with her family by her side. 

Born in Springhill, NS, she was a daughter of the late Avery and Olive (Carter) Jackson.

Faye loved to play Bingo and always enjoyed going to the games.  She enjoyed reading and most recently spending time on her computer, keeping up with family and friends.

She will be sadly missed by sons Daniel (Colleen) Tower, Sherwood Park, AB, Steven (Debbie) Tower, Amherst, NS; daughter Shelly (Bill) Parsons, Springhill, NS; grandchildren Chris and Amber Tower, Donna Grant, Rea and Travis Parsons; great grandchildren Alexis and Landon Tower; sisters Heather (Raymond) Milner, Salem, NS, Joyce Carscadden, Amherst, NS, Sylvia (Roger) Oulton, Northport, NS, Joan Porteous, Calgary, AB, Donna Jackson (Joe), Sackville, NB, Lorna (Rick) Funk, Calgary, AB, Eleanor (Kerry) Rivard, B.C.; brother Walter (Linda) Jackson, Leicester, NS; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Norman Kavalak; sisters Shirley and Ruth Jackson and 2 infant siblings.

Cremation has taken place under the care and supervision of A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane St., Springhill, NS (902-597-2361).  A private family service will take place at a later date.
