It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Pauline Inez Allen, age 83, of Springhill, NS.  Pauline passed away peacefully at Cumberland Regional Health Care Center on Saturday, October 3, 2015.

Born in Oxford, NS, she was a daughter of the late Noble and Della (Rushton) Dobson.

Pauline worked for many years at Oxford Frozen Foods.  She devoted her life to her husband, children and grandchildren.

She will be dearly missed by her daughters Mary (Joseph) Arsenault, Springhill, and Annie (Ray Keith) Berry, Calgary; 5 grandchildren, Adenda Lowther, Bernie Lowther, Theresa Paillard, Tabatha Daniels, and Tanya Shewchuk; 14 great grandchildren; very special friends Mary Lou Park and John Choisnet, of Wyndham Hill; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Bernard Joseph Allen; 2 infant grandchildren; and was the last surviving member of her 11 siblings.

Arrangements have been entrusted to A H Brown Funeral Service, 5 McFarlane St., Springhill, NS (902-597-2361).  There will be no visitation.  A funeral service will be held at A H Brown Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 2:00 pm, with Major Max Snow officiating. Burial in the Hillside Cemetery, Springhill.
